Savin Hill Yoga is a neighborhood Yoga studio in the northern part of Dorchester, MA, not far from the Savin Hill T stop. SHY is a small friendly studio. Our mission is to help our students overcome the negative effects of their daily stress. We like to think of ourselves as an oasis of health and calm in our vibrant urban community. Come to the studio. Take off your shoes and relax. We have heated floors, high ceilings and beautiful windows facing East. Visit our renovated "Livery and Horse Shoeing Establishment" just off Dorchester Ave at 11 Pearl Street. Leave with your body a little stronger and you mind a little calmer.
Savin Hill Yoga is coming into the new year with new teachers, new classes, new class times and a strong sense of optimism. For over four years now SHY has been building a community of yoga enthusiasts and neighbors looking for a simple health alternative. It has been wonderful watching people make and maintain connections in the studio. It is our central goal that this community should grow and prosper. We are expanding the studio in every way. We have new staff, new classes, new class times, Karma's Yoga Nidra workshop, travel programs to Puerto Rico and Italy and even massage. Join us on our journey through the next year. This month we are welcomed Karen Yee as the newest member of our talented staff. Karen comes to us with a background in Yoga and Pilates.
