Larry Pryor

Larry Pryor
Savin Hill Yoga

I teach in the tradition of Sri Krishnamacharya. I practice a healing form of Viniyoga.I combine breath and movement to achieve a meditative healing yoga practice.

I have personally concentrated on the joyous laughing yoga aspects of my teachers philosophies.

My classes emphasize the traditional yoga poses. My classes include healthy students and also students with every form of disability. In Viniyoga we believe that if a person can breathe they can benefit from the practice of Yoga. As often as possible I try to include all eight branches of Yoga in each of my classes.

I often adapt my practice to benefit students who are challenged by specific conditions, including stroke, paralysis, asthma, Alzheimer's syndrome, fibromyalgia, depression, trauma and many others. I am trained as a psychological counselor and worked for many years in that field.

I am a nationally registered Yoga instructor with the Yoga Alliance.
