Larry Pryor / Savin Hill Yoga

Larry Pryor / Savin Hill Yoga

I teach in the tradition of Sri Krishnamacharya. I practice a healing form of Viniyoga.I combine breath and movement to achieve a meditative healing yoga practice.

I have personally concentrated on the joyous laughing yoga aspects of my teachers philosophies.

My classes emphasize the traditional yoga poses. My classes include healthy students and also students with every form of disability. In Viniyoga we believe that if a person can breathe they can benefit from the practice of Yoga. As often as possible I try to include all eight branches of Yoga in each of my classes.

I often adapt my practice to benefit students who are challenged by specific conditions, including stroke, paralysis, asthma, Alzheimer's syndrome, fibromyalgia, depression, trauma and many others. I am trained as a psychological counselor and worked for many years in that field.

I am a nationally registered Yoga instructor with the Yoga Alliance.

Soni Anderson / Soni Yoga

Sarojini (Soni) Anderson CYT, ERYT 200, and Certified Ayurvedic Consultant, was born into yoga in the Fiji Islands. Yoga massaged as a baby by her grandmother and taught yoga as play by her grandfather, yoga is truly in her bones. In her teaching she strives to bring the same sense of joy and playfulness that her grandfather shared with her. Soni has studied different styles and levels of yoga in United States, and is certified in the Shivananda Hatha and in yoga therapy. In 1991 she got her certification from American Council on Sports Medicine. That experience, combined with her yoga training allow her to build yoga routines to support all areas of the body and helps in injury prevention. She works with all ages and styles of yoga: teaching moms how to yoga massage babies (it helps both sleep better), teaching seniors how to breathe and strengthen themselves using chair yoga, and teaching everyone how to grow themselves through yoga practice.
